Two hours of Paris nestled in the heart of Burgundy,
the village of Entrains
carries 2000 years of history from the Romans through
modern times and one can actually feel it while walking
through its streets and landscapes. In this surrounding
so many chateaus stand against the forgiveness of
time and invite you to indulge in French ‘’art
de vivre’’. Entrains has a sister city:
Saranac-Lake in upper New York State in the wonderful
Adirondack National Park. To celebrate this relationship
the “Maison des Adirondacks” was inaugurated
on July 4th 1994, in a completely renovated 16th century
building. It is today a charming Bed and Breakfast
as well as a “Home of the Arts” which
provides Master classes to demanding musicians as
well as courses in culinary arts and other fine arts
directed by well known professors... Our ambition
is to share with you in an artistic atmosphere the
fruits of a long tradition of french hospitality,
elegant cuisine and excellent wines.
